This month, we will NOT be at the club site. Instead, this month’s portable operations special interest group meeting will be held at the pavilion at Chestnut Hills Park (140 Chestnut Hill Dr, Ravenna, OH).
We’re going to meet a little bit early (6 PM), so that we have plenty of daylight to play radio. I’m bringing my Wolf River coil using the new longer whip. Feel free to bring your station out for some QRP fun using simple antennas. I don’t believe there’s electric at this pavilion, so bring your battery.
Chestnut Hills is not a POTA Park, but we can still have fun hunting, and comparing setups.
