Please join us for the PCARS Monthly Meeting Monday April 14th at the American Legion post 496 located at 1945 Mogadore Rd. Kent, OH 44240. The meeting starts at 7:00PM sharp!
Our speaker will be Jack Alpern K8HGX and his topic will be estate planning for ham radio. operators. Jack was first licensed in 1957, is a PCARS member and a semi-retired attorney who practiced estate planning law in Warren, OH for 52 years. During that time, he completed over 3,000 estate plans for clients throughout Ohio and other states. In addition, he assisted hundreds of families after a loved one died in settling their estates. A co-author of 2 books on this subject, he has presented hundreds of public and private seminars on estate planning. He is a 2-time graduate of The Ohio State University, a widower and father of 2 children and lives in Aurora. Jack is especially concerned about ham radio operators who become disabled or die without proper planning. He hopes to publish an article in QST on this subject in the near future.
