PCARS members

You can support us in three ways:

First, attend the meeting and purchase plenty of 50/50 tickets, the portion of the 50/50 that would typically go to PCARS will instead be donated to the Center of Hope.

Second, consider making a personal donation to the Center of Hope. Every little bit helps someone in your community enjoy a better holiday season this year.

Lastly, don’t hesitate to reach out to your friends, neighbors, and colleagues to encourage them to support this meaningful cause. They might say “yes” or “no,” but if you don’t ask, you’ll never know, and that doesn’t help anyone!

We kindly ask that you bring all your donations, including any contributions you’ve gathered from others to our meeting on Monday, November 11th. When you make your donation, please ensure that checks are made out to ‘The Center of Hope’.

The Hamvention team is pleased to introduce our 2025 Theme; “Radio Independence.”

Radio Independence means a great deal to us. In the age of Parks on the Air (POTA), Summits on the Air (SOTA), YouTube, and International Communications, radio is moving beyond its past limitations. In the course of history radio has been heavily regulated and, in some instances, banned altogether. We are fortunate to enjoy these freedoms, and for us at Hamvention we are proud of our Radio Independence. What does Radio Independence mean to you? See you at Hamvention 2025. 73,

Please join us TONIGHT October 29th as the PCARS 5th Tuesday SIG (Could be Anything SIG) presents a mini hamfest. Gene and I will get the doors opened by 5pm and set up club items that are for sale.

Please bring some of your own items that you’d like to sell. We will set up on tables in bays 2 and 3, and plan to be there until 9pm.

So — Tuesday October 29, 2024, 5 p.m. at the PCARS club site on Oakwood Ave. in Ravenna. Come on down, we always have a good time solving all the problems of the world!
