Hi everyone!

We have a new Special Interest Group at PCARS!  “Linux & Raspberry Pi SIG” will be on every even month first Tuesday, so the first meeting will be Tuesday, June 3, 2025. This is the spot that was on the HF WAS & DX Nets SIG (now inactive).

We will focus on ham-related Raspberry Pi and Linux laptop installation, but any topic is open discussion. Line up your questions and ideas!

A few of us in the club have spare Raspberry Pi’s. We will have one for you if needed.

More information will be coming before the first meeting.

The next PCARS Flex Net will take place on Wednesday May 14th at 8:00 PM. The net this month will take place on 20 meters using the digital mode Olivia 8/500. The frequency will be 14.092 +/- QRM or existing nets/QSO’s. Set the cursor center frequency on the waterfall to 1,500 Hz. If there are any updates I will provide them the morning of May 14th via QST email. I hope to see you there.
