DXpeditions are undertaken by amateur radio operators and DX listeners to explore remote and exotic locations. These expeditions are driven by the allure of inaccessible places, restricted access, or the scarcity of radio amateurs in those areas. Such expeditions can encompass islands, countries, or specific spots on a geographical grid.
